Fairbanks : Alaska

Fairbanks is Alaska's second largest city with a population of 32,156. It houses the  University of Alaska Fairbanks, the oldest college in Alaska. Fairbanks is privileged to enjoy more than 20 hours of daylight from mid-May through July. It is in Fairbanks North Star Borough on the Chena River in the Tanana Valley. It is located at a  64.837N and is -147.716W with an elevation of 446 feet. Weather in Fairbanks is most extreme with warm summers when temperature reaches 90° F and extremely cold winters when temperatures dip to -60°F
