Kenai : Alaska

Kenai is located on the Kenai Peninsula at the meeting point of Kenai River and Cook Inlet. It boasts of some spectacular scenery and wildlife, and has a rich history of native and Russian settlements and culture as its motto “Village with a past, city with a future” suggests.

The average summertime temperature in Kenai is around 60 degrees while temperatures during winter could be anything between 15 to 35 ? F. The wintertime averages considerably colder temps ranging from 15 to 35 degree’s. Kenai is present in the midst of some active volcanoes like Mt. Spur, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna all of which are visible from the city. The city is famous for its world class salmon fishing.
